Run wash, dry, and fold cycles for individual customer loads at our Richmond facility. Every load runs in its own machine — your job is to keep that promise consistent.
About the role
What you’dbe doing.
You're the hands behind the brand. Every wash & fold customer trusts that their laundry comes back clean, sorted, and folded the way they like it — and that it never gets mixed with someone else's. As a Laundry Professional you'll run individual customer loads from intake to fold, spot-check quality at each stage, and uphold the standards our customers stay on subscription for.
Day to day
Responsibilities.
- Run wash and dry cycles per the cycle specs assigned to each customer's bag
- Inspect items at intake and fold for quality, flagging damage, stains, or repair needs
- Fold and sort by customer preference (stack-and-stack, drawer-ready, hung where requested)
- Maintain machine and station cleanliness; basic preventative maintenance on dryers and folders
- Support the intake team during peak windows and the dispatch team at the end of the day
What we look for
Qualifications.
Required
- Comfortable on your feet for full shifts and able to lift up to 30 lbs comfortably
- Sharp attention to detail — you spot a missed sock or a wrong fold before anyone has to tell you
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow a written process
- Strong team player — we're a small in-house crew and the day works because everyone covers everyone
Nice to have
- Prior experience in a dry cleaner, hotel laundry, or industrial wash facility
- Familiarity with industrial machine controls and basic maintenance
- Knowledge of fabric care for delicates, wool, silk, or technical performance gear
